In 2017, I was tasked with taking a celebrity figure and making him into a political one that the Canadian people would vote for based on merit, not just his celebrity status. As the Creative Director on his campaign for the Conservative Party of Canada leadership, I created his logo by using his pre-existing company logos as a guide so people could recognize his new branding much more easily. As Creative Director, we created an award winning website (International Digital Vega Award, Goldies Golden Eagle Award). We worked tireless to create a brand that reached all Canadians - doing Facebook live videos on a daily basis, events weekly and massive fundraising. We broke the Canadian record for highest single-day donation in history.
We also needed to create hundreds of campaign products that had to be shipped across the country in a timely manner, the majority of which I was helping to coordinate. All in all, this was a really fun campaign to be a part of (even though he dropped out near the end).
